The party finds the key for the cave door and Jared gets upset by the weakened lightning spell.

Synopsis[]
Jared has found a locked door, but has not found the key. He continues to investigate the forest to find the key. He is surprised to find a sign post that he did not see before. Some voices can be heard, and magicians and myrmidons attack. Jared laughs when he finds the key!
He works his way back to the cave, and saves the game before unlocking the door. A well dressed man is on the other side of the door. Guards and mages attempt to charm the party. Keir is charmed, and Jared attempts to uncharm him by attacking him, and is confused as to why it didn't work. Arrion gets killed. He reloads his last save.
The party wins this time, where they find a crap ton of armor. A parchment is found on the body with a broken message, that Jared attempts to read.
"Gestures"
Jared organizes the party's inventory. Another group of veterans appear. Several scrolls are found. Even more 'babies' appear who are put to sleep and killed. Jared finds a scroll of lightning, and gets excited. The third fight in a row is devil swines and boars. Jared is angry when he doesn't have his lightning spell!
Jared tries again, and uses lightning on the devil swine, and is surprised that it only hits one enemy. Jared is disappointed by the weakened spell.
"Grumpy Jared"
He then discovers that it has to hit all creatures behind the attack, not in front of it. Jared resets again knowing that fight won't go well. Jared attempts the lightning again, which still doesn't work as he would expect it to. Jared accidentally pulls out the controller and has to put it back in.
"LOL"
Larissa will be the MVP of the fight.
"I am the Hermione of this party."
Jared complains about web being a touch spell in this game, and apologizes for being so angry all of a sudden.
"Is OK Jared. It kinda is."
Larissa is killed, and Jared resets the fight again. Marius finally resists a charm, giving Jared hope. Jared sighs after he finally defeats the swines. This episode went for a lot longer than Jared had hoped.
